Much of the crew is still around, Darko. I was the wrong age for the Nightbird and never really knew her; as a child I shared a room with my two younger brothers, and so there wasn't much radio playing done at night.

Vin Scelsa is still famously with WFUV. I'm pretty sure Meg Griffin is still with Sirius, where she has been for a couple of years (she was with FUV for quite some time as well). Richard Neer, Pete Fornatelle, and many others are still in broadcasting. I think Carol Miller is on Q104.3, if not she landed with some other classic rock station.

It was a time and a place, wasn't it?

Is he the last of the 60's-70's bunch? Or is Vince Scelsa still alive? Remember Allison Steele, http://www.angelfire.com/tv2/eccentric/wijl1l1i/alison1.wav, ? While Scott was the man with chutzpah, it was Allison, the Night Bird, that was in our heads most of the time.

I liked listening to Muni too. Understated, in exceptionally overstated times.
