Oren Bloedow, guitarist, is a multi-talented singer, writer, bassist and sometime sitar player. His solo record "The Luckiest Boy in the World" (Knitting Factory Works) is a sublime journey into his pop jazz heart. He is also one third of the ether behind the romantic rock troupe Elysian Fields with paramour Jennifer Charles and keyboard/ multi-instrumentalist Ed Pastorini. Oren and Jenifer have collaborated for most of her songwriting career.
Roland Satterwhite lives in Washington Heights and plays the violin. He moved to New York in the summer of 2000 just when New York real estate eclipsed the moon. He also write music, and sings. His website is benedekrecords.com.
Sonny Barbato plays piano and accordion in Jenifer's current live band. Jenifer met him at a party when she was 16. Greg Wieczorek, (aka G Wiz), first met Jenifer through Pat Sansone in April 2002 in Nashville. The three had an immediate chemistry as they began recording tracks for So High. Now a resident of NYC, G says he's very proud to be a part of the band. G has also recorded and performed with Joseph Arthur, Autumn Defense, Greg Dulli of the Afghan Whigs, Rene Lopez and the Nervous Cabaret. He has written, performed and produced 2 records with the band Daydreams & Curry and has won various awards for different things.
Pat Sansone met Jenifer through common friends and collaborators Swan Dive, from Nahville. Soon after, Pat contributed keyboards and backing vocals to Jenifer's album Birds, recorded in Nashville with Brad Jones. Pat became a more common fixture in Jenifer's live band after relocating to NYC in the fall of 2000. The two toured in Germany as a duo in the winter of 2001 with a set of many new songs written by Jenifer, and in the spring of 2002 began work on the album So High produced by Pat. Pat has worked with a handful of songwriters as a studio musician including Joseph Arthur, Josh Rouse, and Dave Pirner. He also records his own songs in The Autumn Defense (with Wilco's John Stirratt) and Birdy on the Moon (his solo project).
