The Gigometer Atom Feeds
The Daily Gigometer
(once a day)
The Gigometer Update
(if needed)
NEW: The
spotlight
icon will highlight one band of special interest each day. See the details
of the selection criteria.
This new version of the GigometerTM features a customizable favicon and customizable background colors for
the main display (the frame stays the same, however.) To use the color picker you will need to allow
javascript and cookies: javascript to let you pick the
colors, cookies to store the information so that you don't have to
do it every time.
Shows added or modified in the last 24 hours are flagged by a
† marker (customizable);
those added or modified 24 - 72 hours ago by a ‡ marker
(also customizable).
Note that color customization (but not favicon and update markers)
can also be managed without cookies via a "user" or "personal" style
sheet, if your browser provides for one (most do.) Look in your
browser's documentation for more info.
If your browser cannot handle the CSS required for proper formatting, please try
instead the Text GigometerTM.
For a time, the old graphical version with frames is still available
here.
Wherever available, there are links to outside web sites (for venues
and bands) and to maps (venue locations), as well as informative
pop-ups that appear when the mouse hovers over the various elements.
To avoid visual cluttering, links are not set out in color in the
main display, instead they are shown by changes in the shape of the
mouse pointer. Explore at your leisure, things will become clear very
quickly. Move the mouse pointer away from active elements to hide the
pop-ups.
